Government Webcast Series (Part 3)
Government Cyber Security in the World of Web 2.0
Web 2.0 applications have no doubt taken the world by storm. SharePoint, Facebook, Webex, YouTube, Skype, Twitter, AOL Instant Messenger are all examples of the types of Web 2.0 tools that have been widely adopted and used everyday all across the globe. And for government agencies, it is troublesome when the applications are adopted in an accelerated fashion without any involvement from IT. IT professionals are left scrambling to secure their networks, adhering to compliance regulations and assessing ongoing cyber security risks and threats — all while enabling the network to function at maximum capacity.
